Fight The Sky

Jacoby, Wade, Ali and Jay (from the left to the right)

Fight The Sky was conceived in the winter of 2002 between long time friends Wade Khail (guitar), Jay Ingram (drums), and Ali Abrishami (guitar). Khail and Ingram had been long time fixtures on the Sacramento music scene, Khail a guitar tech for hometown rock outfit Papa Roach since 1997, Ingram running Ascensive Marketing & Promotions, promoting many of Sacramento's bands, clubs and music publications. Having known each other from shows around Sacramento- Abrishami, Khail, and Ingram began talking about forming a band. Light conversation turned to action in early 2002 with the three writing what would become their debut "Seven Deadly Songs" (El Tonal Records). Working with longtime friend/producer Jacoby Shaddix, the band entered Velvet Tone Studios in Sacramento, California between the months of January and February 2004.

With the addition of vocalist John Doe, the bands aggressive guitar oriented songs sway from the complicated to the down right melodic with cutting screams and soaring melody. Fight The Sky will definitely stand on their own in the ever expanding heavy rock genre.

2004 and beyond will bring the release of the bands debut "Seven Deadly Songs" on the Papa Roach owned El Tonal Records, as well as possible soundtracks, and extensive touring.
